Trafalgar Square Performances
 |
The evening’s itinerary is a blend of entertaining
performances and interactive exhibitions, highlighting the
breadth of our Organisation’s activities.
Themed stalls mark the perimeter of the Square, exhibiting
the richness of India’s culture, couture and cuisine; our
charity partners are also supporting this event. Visit the
dedicated stall to find out more about Shree Muktajeevan
Pipe Band and its activities. |
From 7pm onwards, the focus turns to the stage, where you
will witness the incredible performing arts talents of the sants
(monks) and disciples of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi
Sansthan. A unique fusion of Shree Muktajeevan Pipe Band
and traditional India beats exemplifies the seamless
integration of Eastern and Western culture. A patriotic dance
sings the praises of all that is great about India; the tricolour
of the Indian flag representing religiosity, sacrifice and
courage (saffron); peace, purity and truth (white); and
growth, fertility and harmony with one’s environment (green).
Every item is performed by students of international artistic
academies established in memory of Jeevanpran Shree
Muktajeevan Swamibapa.
